The costs of wind turbines will keep falling as they become easier to install and the demand grows. Wind is considered a native fuel that does not need to be transported or mined eliminating two costly expenses from long term energy expenses. Today we need to appreciate ourselves that our technology has grown to such an extent where we are able to generate electricity using air.

In addition wind energy is a native energy because it is available practically everywhere on the plant which contributes to reducing energy imports and to creating wealth and local employment. Wind energy is going to be a part of the future regardless of how we feel about it. And energy production is the biggest current source of these emissions. Research efforts are aimed at addressing the challenges to greater use of wind energy.

For these reasons producing electricity through wind energy and its efficient use contributes to sustainable development. Furthermore the efficiency of wind energy reduces the cost of energy across the board in states that have given funding to wind energy projects. If we do not make the transition now future generations will have an enormous problem. Basically if we think deep into the way how we generate energy from it then we can understand it clearly that how technologically evolved we are.
